Did you know that starting today, in Michigan, patrons of bars and restaurants will need to provide their name and phone number for future contract tracing or risk being refused service?
This new rule was issued by the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services. Michigan officials claim that the rationale for the rule is that there have been 12 coronavirus outbreaks stemming from bars and restaurants.
This is clearly big brother taking advantage of the pandemic to take away Michiganian’s liberty, privacy, and freedom. As Rahm Emanuel is famous for saying “You never want a serious crisis to go to waste.”
