Facebook is reportedly developing a new way to control the narrative on information that people take in online.
According to BuzzFeed News, Facebook recently unveiled an Artificial Intelligence Assistant Tool to their employees that can summarize long form content into bullet points. They plan to implement this to make shared articles easier to digest. Of course, how Facebook chooses to summarize key points, will allow them to shape the meaning of the content, rather than allowing the reader to draw their own conclusions.
